Here's the project:
Set up our webpage (created with Freeway web design software) with a back-end inventory database so that our online inventory gallery can be updated with data imported from our inventory tables in MS Access (on a local machine)
We do not process orders online, we are only updating our inventory listings online when our inventory changes. We have inventory images uploaded to an FTP server accessible via an http address. Our database will upload item details, and indicate if the item is active or sold. The webpage will look for item images on our FTP server, and organize the galleries into "Active" and "Sold" sections.
It seems as though all this can be accomplished through our software (Freeway) - but we need someone to get this set up for us so that we can easily update the online content with our data as inventory changes.
interested parties should be very familiar with Freeway, Access, and back-end database design and implementation.
I would prefer that all the work be accomplished in our Boise office. Any virtual job bidders will be considered but not compensated as much as the one who physically comes to our location. I expect compensation to be negotiated somewhere between $20 and $40/hour.

I am looking for an assistant PHP Developer to help build the backend of an extensive web project. I apologize for being vague, but I can't be too descriptive. The requirements are few but very important:
1. Must be a big thinker.
2. Must be proficient in Object Oriented PHP
3. Must know how to play Travian (not something similar and not joking)
This has no initial pay, but compensation will be determined as a percentage of profit when the site goes live. My company is growing and I need to delegate a few development projects to a reliable .NET web application programmer. This person will fill a contract position and will help me complete my current projects on time. I work for a growing design & manufacturing firm in the medical and controls industry.
Must Haves:

We have a client located in McCall, ID that is requesting a technician on a sub-contractor/independent contractor basis for Thursday 10/23/08 at 2:00PM for a de-install of a firewall system, 1 PC w/wipe, and 5 printers. The tech will be required to de-install the equipment and pack it up in boxes that will be provided by us. The boxes will already have shipping labels. There may be other equipment onsite that we were not made aware of so he/she may need to assist with the packing and logging of those items as well. I'm looking for some help with a few projects. This could turn into a full time job, but for now I have three projects I'm looking for help on.
1) We're building a robust J2ME application for OTA deployment to cell phones. Would require previous experience writing J2ME apps and a great understanding of building applications with intermittent network connectivity.
2) We're looking to build an application to run on Google's Android platform. Similar requirements. Strong networking skills, building applications that can talk to a REST api, etc.
3) We're looking to build a Firefox extension that will talk to a remote server via REST api. Similar requirements. Strong networking skills, good coding practices and experience, building applications that can talk to a REST api, strong html and javascript knowledge.

I am looking for a skilled graphic/web designer to create a small business website. The candidate must be responsive, efficient, a self starter, and MUST be able to communicate well through email/phone. Work from anywhere, but be available to work. I need you to be responsive as well as available now as I am working under a tight deadline. I'd also prefer a development enviornment where I can see the work as it is coming along so that we can make changes as necessary.
The project requires the following:
Together we will be building a small business website that should be flexible enough that when it is finished, it can be updated fairly often by someone who is not technical. E-commerce is not necessary but we will need to upload a lot of documents on an ongoing basis. As for design, I am looking for an artistic flair with a less is more style (no ugly and wasteful graphics as we are looking to have a classic, high end design).
